7th December: The 2009 Internet Bodypainting Competition is announced on Facebook

There are four categories of technique - brush, airbrush, adornment & prosthetics.
The topics which will stretch through all 4 techniques are:
- The Seven Deadly Sins
- Fantasy
- Tribal
- The Economy
Work is to be submitted by March 30th 2009 and has to have been done between now, 7th of December and 30th of March. All entries must be new and unseen work. This is an essential criteria for entry to this competition. You are asked to keep any retouching to a minimum as we will not be seeing this work in real time.
Your work will be judged by a panel of Bodypainters to be announced in the next week. The work will also be featured on this website.
1st Prize is a place on my course in June 2009.
This takes place in London.
2nd Prize is the full body Painting Collection: The Masterclass DVD, a set of brushes and the Kit, everything you need to be able to do the DVD.
3rd prize is the Bodypainting MasterClass DVD.
If anyone has links to other groups, magazines, events, people who may want to compete, please, please forward this competition on as I am being threatened with closure if I post on any sites!! SO, would all of you please pass this onto all that you know who might be interested and let's get this competition going!
I will be giving as much support as I can with questions on technique, products etc when it is in my field. Otherwise questions will be passed on to other artists. Please let me know if you are an artist who would respond.
