Course details: The Art of Painted Clothes

An intensive 2 day Masterclass focussing on painting clothing:

  • Waterbased paints,
  • oil based paints,
  • fuller’s earth,
  • gold and silver leaf and tattoos.

The Art of Illusion:

  • Light and shade
  • Perspective
  • Blocking out designs.
  • Timings
  • Lighting

Practical work and time to experiment with the different materials.

Lunch and snacks are included on both days.

For the second day:

There is a model provided for each student.
This day will be spent working on a body painting.

The idea is set by Carolyn who will take you though all the issues that arise when taking on a project. You will be encouraged and helped by Carolyn throughout the day to understand and push through your creative blocks and fears.
